You can be sure you are always viewing the genuine MyState Bank website by following these simple steps:

  • Always ensure that you access the MyState Bank website by visiting mystate.com.au from your web browser and that this address is visible in the address bar
  • Never access the MyState Bank website from an email link

What security measures are used?

Encryption

We use 128-bit SSL data encryption technology to help provide the best protection for passwords, account details and all other information exchanged via our site.

Secure passwords

Because MyState Mobile Banking and the MyState Bank Mobile App use the same password as Internet Banking, the same strong password rules apply.

Automatic time-outs

Sessions will time-out automatically after a total of 15 minutes, or 5 minutes of inactivity.

Restricted transfers

Transfers and payments are only possible to payees and billers that have previously been saved in Internet Banking (via the full website).
